This superb reproduction of the original full-color lithograph map was compiled from data gathered by the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey and the Hawaiian Government Surveys that were available to the General Land Office under the direction of I.P. Berthrong in 1921.

This historical mapping shows the region's districts, important towns, railroads, and roads as they existed in the early part of the twentieth century. The inset depicts the entire Hawaiian archipelago.
