"New Jersey" Published by Johnson & Browning, 1861 This superb reproduction is from the rare, original antique map of "New Jersey" that was published by Johnson and Browning of New York in 1861, the first year of the Civil War. Compiled, drawn and engraved under the supervision of J. H. Colton and A. J. Johnson, this map was part of Johnson's New Illustrated family Atlas. The coloring was a combination of block printing and hand stencil.
