Published by Pierre vander Aa 1713

This rare and highly detailed reproduction of a copperplate engraved map was published by Pierre vander Aa in 1713. Shown are the English and Spanish settlements (including St. Augustine), Indian territories, mountains, lakes and rivers as they were known to exist in the early 18th century.

The map is also complimented by a beautiful cartouche of native Indians and wildlife common to the area at the time.
