"Heavenly" Hana, isolated from the rest of the island, is truly the last undeveloped tropical paradise on Maui. Picturesque views of spectacular waterfalls, the rugged Hana shoreline, and some of the best beaches on the island are only the beginning of its charms.

Hana Bay has a large, black sand beach which is the result of lava eroding and washing into the ocean from a nearby stream. This area is well protected and is usually a very safe place to swim, making it popular with local families and visitors alike. Here, on the right side of the bay, you can also see old Hana Pier.
