"Map of Territory of Hawaii"

Published by George F. Cram & Co., 1911

Printed by Lahaina Printsellers, Ltd., 2016

This wonderful reproduction of an early 20th century map, published in Chicago by George F. Cram and Company, was the first to depict Hawaii as a territory.

Printed in 1911 (eighteen years after the overthrow of Hawaii's last monarch, Queen Liliuokalani), this historic map includes insets of Honolulu and Midway Island, long before Honolulu became the location for a strategic U.S. military base.

We custom-print this facsimile map on waterproof canvas in our Lahaina studio using the finest archival inks, which are tested and guaranteed not to fade or shift under normal circumstances for over 100 years. Modern printing techniques allow us to improve and enhance the historical subject matter, even as we're careful to preserve and maintain its historical and artistic integrity.
