"Otahiti, Huaheine, And Ulietea"

Published by Strahan and Cadell, 1777

This superior reproduction of the original copperplate engraving entitled, " Otahiti, Huaheine, and Ulietea" is an illustration of the inlets which lead to the islands of Tahiti.

Taken from an original field drawing by Benard, each line in the fine detail of this illustration had to be hand etched in order to achieve the 3-dimensional affect and was originally published by Strahan and Cadell of London, England in 1777.
