"Nova Belgica et Anglia Nova"

Published by Blaeu, 1630-34

This reproduction of an original color copperplate engraving of New England and the New Netherlands, crisscrossed with rhumb lines (any of the 32 points of a mariner's compass), is one of the earliest detailed maps to show the part of North America colonized by the Dutch. It is also the first printed map to show Indian canoes and North American fauna such as turkeys, beavers, polecats and otters.

Nothing captures the intricacy of these early Antique Maps, better than the Giclée process. Lahaina Printsellers Ltd. has scoured the corners of the United States and built a collection of Antique Maps pertaining to The Eastern United States. This is one of many City Maps. Every Vintage Antique Map is carefully scanned and reproduced on Premium Cotton Canvas, and printed in such a way, as to preserve the integrity of the Map's original design.  From a Bird's Eye view to detailed City plans, everything you need is here. Follow your City, State's, and Country's growth and build your own collection of Lahaina Printsellers' Giclées.
