This superior reproduction of the beautifully-engraved copperplate map by Jacques Nicolas Bellin, the Hydrographer to the Crown of France, was originally published in 1757 for the Histoire Generale des Voyages.
This early map depicts the New England coast from Penobscot Bay in the north to New York and Pennsylvania in the south.
